Following in the footsteps of Silkie’s critically-acclaimed debut album ‘City Limits Vol.1’, DEEP MEDi Musik are delighted to announce the release of ‘DEEP MEDi Releases Vol.1’ – a compilation showcasing the first five 12” releases from Mala’s DEEP MEDi imprint.
Kicking off a brand new series, ‘DEEP MEDi Releases Vol.1’ features certified classic material from 2006-07 from the likes of Kromestar (Anti Social Entertainment), Hijak (Skream’s gifted older sibling), Digital Mystikz cohorts Mala and Coki, Loefah (DMZ) and Goth-Trad.
Blending refined sub low gymnastics and advanced electronic engineering with an everpresent nod to the roots of sound system culture, ‘DEEP MEDi Releases Vol.1’ represents a superb snapshot of DEEP MEDi’s early beginnings and a crucial period in dubstep’s evolution.
